Preparing your children ready for a new school or getting ready for for a fresh term there may be some expenses that can crop up, these include school trips, uniforms, lunches, stationery, books and bus fairs back and forth from. Any expenses need to be thought about and planned for, when you have more children in school your expenses will soar.

What is the status of the school around the district, are there reports relating to issues such as teasing reported in the local press? You can often get to read old issues of press stories at libraries around the school catchments area or on-line, it is worth you putting in some effort to research these things as you can find reports about the school or students that the head or board of governors do not want brought to the notice of future pupils.
You will need to investigate the league charts and investigate what results the studants are scoring. Remember to do a little research into the results have the school got in past years and is there a subject the school do well in? If the grades recently increased why have they done this and will this continue? You should also look into the Ofstead reports for schools. Many schools that frequently perform well will happily display their Ofstead reports online.
If your child needs to go to a specialist school like an international school or a Dyslexia school then there maybe some additional things to look into. As many dyslexia schools UK are also boarding schools you might want to look into their reputation. If your child is into sports and wishes to attend a sports college then you may want to look into the different sports facilities they have available as well as their football teams latest results.

The Physics laboratory was in a pre-fab that seeped grime in from the roof. As you came into the lab their was a large apparatus displaying the solar systems orbits and others with a lot of black and white balls joined together with bright plastic shafts. The course consisted of equations and drawings explaining why the planets circled in orbit and similarily why atoms stayed together I think it was because they liked each other!

Inbetween Roman centurians hacking through the hordes of European barbarians to the Bessemer blast furnace revolutionising the smelting of iron. I loved history studies because you started to understand the journey of how modern life has evolved. Because we went into the industrial revolution you also got to go on days out to old mills and forges and went into how things worked and how society developed.
